How to quickly configure IRC Explorer
Note: if IRC Explorer asks to run in the background/be added to the lockscreen, please do so! This enables the app to run in the background, as IRC itself has no good way of maintaining a background connection. (Remember, the protocol is over 20 years old!)

Download IRC Explorer.

Click the plus button (add) in the top right corner.

Fill in the settings as such: (Update: make sure the server is set to irc.spi.gt) (Nickserv password is the password you set when you registered)

Click the save button. After you click the save button, click the "play" button.

If you're in, good! Now, every time you start IRC Explorer, you will automatically join the IRC channel without touching anything!
Note: if IRC Explorer asks to run in the background/be added to the lockscreen, please do so! This enables the app to run in the background and prevent disconnecting from the IRC server.
